BAGHDAD, Two people were killed in an explosion caused by a gas leak in a building in the center of the Jordanian capital Amman.
Local media reported that "a powerful explosion rocked the center of the capital, on Thursday morning, and activists were moving pictures and videos showing the crash of the facade of a building by the blast."
The Traffic Department said that "it took traffic procedures in central Amman to protect the safety of citizens, noting that the explosion was caused by a gas leak inside a restaurant."
According to activists, the explosion was caused by a gas leak, while the fire engines and rescue vehicles rushed to the area to deal with the incident.
