Abu Dhabi Chamber discusses cooperation with Federation of Egyptian Industries

ABU DHABI, Ali Saeed bin Harmal Al Dhaheri, First Vice Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, highlighted the importance of capitalising on available opportunities and strengthening commercial relations, as well as supporting the investment cooperation between business leaders and companies in Abu Dhabi and their counterparts in Egypt, for the benefit of the peoples of the two countries.

He made this statement during the visit of the Investment and Communication Committee of the Federation of Egyptian Industries (FEI), headed by Dr. Mahmoud Monir Soliman, Under-Secretary of the FEI’s Board of Directors, Chairman of the Investment, Investors and Business Organisations Liaison Committee, and Chairman of the Arquarzo Group of Companies for the Abu Dhabi Chamber.

Al Dhaheri welcomed the Egyptian delegation and highlighted opportunities for strengthening the cooperation between Emirati and Egyptian companies in several vital areas while noting that Abu Dhabi has become a key international centre that attracts global companies wishing to establish regional branches in the emirate.

He then affirmed the chamber’s keenness to encourage cooperation and promote economic, industrial and investment relations with the FEI, as well as organise an investment delegation’s visit to Egypt.

Dr. Soliman expressed the federation’s keenness to strengthen the ties between the two sides and showcase major opportunities available in Egypt, most notably in glass production.

He invited the Abu Dhabi Chamber and business leaders in the emirate to take advantage of investment opportunities in Egypt, by visiting the “Chamber of Industry” to learn about major investment opportunities in various industrial sectors and to enhance the overall cooperation between Egypt and the UAE.
