Acting Head of the Supreme Economic Committee, Hashem Ismail, met today the Head of the General Authority for Zakat, Sheikh Shamsan Abu Nashtan.
During the meeting, the developments witnessed by the Authority’s activities, the economic impact it achieves, and coordination mechanisms with various parties were discussed, leading to integration and avoiding obstacles.
In the meeting, the Acting Head of the Economic Committee stressed the importance of accelerating the shift towards the electronic system, so that the Zakat Authority reaches the stage of providing all its services electronically.
He stressed that the process of transitioning to the electronic system comes within the framework of the current direction of the state, in implementation of the President’s directives of the Supreme Political Council in this regard.
