Amman, Several explosions Thursday struck outside a ceremony in Kabul attended by Afghanistan's chief executive and the former president, both of whom were unharmed, officials said, according to media reports.

The ceremony was commemorating the 1995 death of prominent minority Hazara leader Abdul Ali Mazari .

The ceremony was attended by Afghan chief executive, Abdullah Abdullah, and other leading government officials.

Media sources reported that a leader of an Afghan party candidate for the presidential election was directly injured.
