Ajman Ruler receives ‘Beit Al Khair Society’ delegation

AJMAN: H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, accompanied by H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, today received, at the Ruler’s Court, a delegation from the Beit Al Khair Society, headed by Abdeen Taher Al Awadhi, Director-General of the Society.

During the meeting, Sheikh Humaid was briefed about the society’s objectives, current and future programmes and initiatives, and its readiness to support various social and humanitarian segments in the country.

He was also briefed on the society’s achievements in Ajman since its office opened in 2013.

Sheikh Humaid lauded the contributions of the UAE’s leadership to charitable and humanitarian institutions, their continuous commitment to caring for and supporting the needy and disadvantaged and providing all the necessary services guided by the noble principles advocated by Islam.

He affirmed that the spirit of charitable and humanitarian work in the UAE was instilled by the late Sheikh Zayed
bin Sultan Al Nahyan and the Founding Fathers, in the hearts of the people of the UAE, leaving a rich legacy of loyalty, commitment and social responsibility towards the vulnerable and needy.

He also stressed the importance of continuing on their path under the wise leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.

Sheikh Humaid commended the Society for its charitable and humanitarian work within the country, lauding its programmes aimed at supporting the needy and instilling the values of charitable and humanitarian work, endowments, and community service through a range of related activities and projects. He affirmed the necessity of further cooperation and coordination between government entities and charitable institutions to achieve common goals and enhance the level of charitable and humanitarian work within the country.

Al Awadhi expressed his gratitude for the reception
of Sheikh Humaid and Sheikh Ammar of the Society’s delegation, acknowledging their interest in exploring its diverse projects and programmes. He affirmed the Society’s commitment to implementing Sheikh Humaid’s directives within its community initiatives to facilitate life for citizens of the emirate, assist underprivileged families, and meet the needs for a dignified life of low-income individuals and families deserving humanitarian and social services.
