ABU DHABI, Al Ain FC dominated the UAE Pro League Awards 2021-2022.
The UAE Pro League held its annual ceremony in the Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi to honour the award’s winners from the previous season.
The annual event was held by the league a few days before the start of the new 2022-2023 football season on Friday.
The ceremony was attended by Abdullah Naser Al Junaibi, Chief of the UAE Pro League, as well as the league’s board of directors, representatives of sponsors and clubs, and various sports and media personalities.
On the sidelines of the event, the Emirates News Agency (WAM), represented by Ali Al Saad, Acting Director-General of WAM, was honoured as the leading media establishment and digital platform, in recognition of its distinguished efforts to cover professional tournaments.
Al Saad stressed that WAM’s honouring is the outcome of its efforts to cover all types of news, including sporting events.
