Al-Khasawneh: We suffer from drugs, and cooperation must be strengthened to confront this threat

The Jordanian Prime Minister, Bisher Hani Al-Khasawneh, affirmed the strength of relations between the Kingdom and Iraq, stressing the importance of military coordination to combat terrorism.

Al-Khasawneh said in a joint press conference with Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa al-Sudani, that we suffer from drugs, and cooperation must be strengthened to confront this threat, noting that they discussed the Iraqi needs for renewable energy.

Al-Khasawneh pointed out that “the second phase of the electrical connection is proceeding rapidly,” noting that “there are promising discoveries near the Iraqi-Jordanian border.”
