Al-Rahwi reviews exceptional exam progress for Arab Fellowship in specialty of emergency and radiology

A member of the Supreme Political Council, Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Rahwi, praised the efforts of the Ministry of Health, represented by the Yemeni Council for Medical Specialties, in conducting examinations in the specific medical specialties that the country needs, especially in light of the continued aggression and siege.

Al-Rahwi stressed, during his review, today, of the conduct of the exceptional examination for Arab Fellowship in the emergency specialty and radiology organized by the Council, the importance of the examinations that are conducted via the Internet in conjunction with a number of Arab countries.

He stressed that taking the exams in Yemen represents a success in light of the continued aggression and blockade, as the student can take the exam in Sana’a instead of the hardship and exorbitant costs as a result of traveling abroad.

He said, “The scientific and research activity that Yemen is witnessing recently indicates the keenness of the Yemeni people to keep pace with scientific development and everything new, whether in the medical field or otherwise.”

For his part, the Deputy Minister of Public Health and Population, Dr. Mutahar Al-Marouni, indicated the ministry’s keenness, through the Yemeni Council for Medical Specialties, to provide the health sector with qualified cadres specialized in various medical specialties in various provinces.

He pointed out that the examination center in Sana’a ranked first in terms of technical equipment and preparation for exams, noting that Yemeni students won the first ranks in the study of the Arab Board fellowship in many medical specialties.
