Al-Sudani affirms the balanced policy approach with the countries of the region

Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani affirmed the balanced policy approach with the countries of the region.

“We are facing important files related to economic, health and food security,” Al-Sudani said in a press conference with his Jordanian counterpart, Bisher Al-Khasawneh.

He stressed the need for continued communication between the two countries to face the drug challenge, noting that Jordan is an arena complementary and integrated with the Iraqi economy, and we aspire to expand cooperation.

He added, “We are supportive of cooperation between the Iraqi and Jordanian private sectors, investing in all projects, and completing steps to implement the joint economic city between the two countries.”

He continued, “The industrial and economic cities are complementary to the promising development path project, which provides an important economic path for the region and the world.”

He stressed the importance of the activity of the business sector and free trade and facilitating the granting of visas, adding that we discussed activating the outcomes of the recent tripartite summit among Iraq, Jordan and Egypt, indicating that there are promising projects and proposals that will benefit the three countries.

he said: “We affirmed Iraq’s firm position on the Palestinian issue and its rejection of the occupation’s practices and the repeated transgression of the Noble Qur’an.”
