Cairo, The Arab League Wednesday reiterated its demands for an immediate de-escalation of violence in Libya and to halt all military operations that have entered their fourth month and resort to political means to reach a comprehensive settlement to the Libyan crisis.

The pan-Arab organization also deplored in a statement the bombing that targeted a center sheltering immigrants in the town of Tajoura in northwestern Libya which killed more than 40 people and injured at least a hundred.
