Bahrain’s National Space Science Authority (NSSA) Saturday launched a globally unprecedented initiative aiming at incorporating “people of determination” into its activities.
In a news statement, A’sha Al-Haram, the initiative’s founder, said the initiative is based on NSSA’s vision on spreading public awareness about space and achieving integration of space knowledge among the different segments of society.
“We believe that space and science is for all, rather than a specific category, and no challenges whatsoever could stand as a hurdle in the way to science and knowledge,” she said.
She indicated that free-of-charge educational workshops would be organized in order to ensure providing simple and effective information.
The workshops will cover various space topics such as astronomy, remote sensing, exploring planets, satellites and artificial intelligence, Al-Haram pointed out.
