Berlin, Baku and Madrid are bidding to host the 2019 Champions League final, the ruling body UEFA said Friday.
The two cities were the only interested parties by a January 27 deadline, and the host will be picked in September by UEFA's excutive committee.
Azerbaijan's Baku is bidding with the Olympic Stadium, which will also stage Euro 2020 matches; and Madrid with the Metropolitano Stadium, the new home from later this year of Atletico Madrid.
The 2017 final is in Cardiff and the 2018 decider in Kiev, dpa reported.
Seven associations are meanwhile interested in the 2019 Europa League final - after Solna, Sweden, in 2017 and Lyon, France, in 2018.
They are Azerbaijan with Baku's Olympic stadium, Scotland with Glasgow's Hampden Park, Turkey's Besiktas Arena, Spain with Sevilla's Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, Georgia with the Dinamo Arena in Tbilisi; and Germany with the stadiums of Eintracht Frankfurt and VfB Stuttgart from which only one will be officially considered.
UEFA said that the current phase is a declaration of interest and that official bids must be submitted by June 6.
It is the first open tender for the finals in several years during which the finals were awarded without official bids.
