CGB Announces Graduation of First ‘Bahith’ Program Batch

Doha: The Civil Service and Government Development Bureau (CGB) announced the graduation of 25 trainee researchers as its ‘Bahith’ program for research and development skills concluded on Wednesday.

Acting Director General of the CGB, Saif bin Ali Al Kaabi attended the closing ceremony along with representatives of the involved research centers.

Al Kaabi said the program aimed to provide job-seeking graduates registered in the National Employment Platform (Kwader) with the key updated research skills in areas of their specialization.

The trainees acquired the needed research and analysis skills to make sound decisions and identify workplace challenges, which will lead to continuously improving the level of services and developing them, he added.

Since February, the trainees have been intensively taught to use research methodologies to enhance their problem-solving, scientific research and policy analysis skills.

Among the multiple research centers involved in the program are the Police Academy’s Security
Research and Studies Center, the Doha International Family Institute, a member of the Qatar Foundation, and the Qatar University’s research centers.
