Clashes Erupt between Palestinians and Occupation Forces in West Bank

Clashes erupted between Palestinians and the Israeli occupation forces following the death of Palestinian detainee Khader Adnan after 87 days of hunger strike.

No injuries were reported during the clashes.

The occupation forces, stationed at the southern checkpoint of the city of Qalqilya in Jaljulia town, fired stun grenades and tear gas at the Palestinians, according to Palestinian news agency (WAFA).

Clashes also broke out with the Israeli occupation forces in the village of Nabi Saleh, north of Ramallah.

The occupation soldiers fired tear gas and stun grenades at the young men during the clashes that erupted in the village, WAFA said.

Meanwhile, the occupation forces closed today Shufa military checkpoint and the entrances to the village of Shufa, southeast of Tulkarm.

Local sources told WAFA that the occupation forces closed the checkpoint to the movement of vehicles entering or leaving Tulkarm, and intensified patrols in the vicinity of Shufa village after closing all its entrances and carried out a sweeping operation there.

In another context the Israeli occupation forces arrested Tuesday 13 Palestinians in separate parts of the West Bank.
