Cold weather conditions are forecast, on Friday, with scattered showers nationwide, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.
Snowfall is forecast mainly in hilly areas in the southern parts of the Kingdom, with northwesterly moderate winds, picking up at times.
During late night hours, the JMD warns of floods formation in the valleys and low-lying areas, as well as, low visibility due to fog formation.
Daytime temperatures expected for today will reach 8 degrees Celsius in Amman and 13 in the northern governorates dropping down to 4 degrees, while it will reach a high of 10 degrees Celsius and a low 2 degrees in the southern cities.
The weather will be warmer in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 20 degrees Celsius and lows standing at 11 degrees.
