Communications Minister launches project to develop, improve quality of Super Net Plus services

Minister of Communications and Information Technology Musfer al-Numair inaugurated on Wednesday at the Corporation’s branch for communications in al-Asbahi area in the capital Sana’a, a project to develop and improve the quality of wired Internet services (ADSL) broadband Super Net Plus (Plus).

The Minister of Communications and Information Technology stated that the launch of the Super Net Plus packages by the General Telecommunications Corporation enables subscribers to use the Internet at high speeds, starting from raising speeds from two megabytes to four megabytes, from four megabytes to eight, and from eight to 12 megabytes per line.

Al-Numair considered these services a qualitative leap at the same price for the package, which improves the package to higher speeds and comes within the framework of the priorities of the Ministry and the Public Telecommunications Corporation in providing services to citizens, which are in line with the directives of the leadership to pay attention to the services provided to citizens and develop them.

On the occasion of Eid Al-Adha, the Minister of Communications announced the presentation of a special offer for the Super Net Plus Internet service, which is 25 percent, which is adding free credit to all subscribers.

Minister al-Numair hoped that the Corporation will further develop and modernize the services provided that the citizen will touch properly and positively.
