Dar Al Ber Society offers AED5 million to support Mothers’ Endowment campaign, launched by Mohammed bin Rashid

DUBAI: Dar Al Ber Society joined a growing list of contributors to the Mothers’ Endowment campaign, launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, as it announced an AED5 million donation in support of the campaign that honours mothers by establishing an AED1 billion endowment fund to support the education of millions around the world.

Coinciding with the holy month of Ramadan, the Mothers’ Endowment campaign allows individuals to donate in their mothers’ names to honour them. Additionally, it aims to support people in underprivileged communities by enhancing education across all levels and vocational tracks, allowing them a chance to improve their quality of life, build their skills and prepare for the job market, which will ultimately drive the stability and development in their communities.

cation around the world is a new addition to a series of charity drives the UAE continues to launch to aid and support underprivileged communities and individuals, helping create a better, safe and stable future for all.’

The Mothers’ Endowment campaign is organised by the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives, the region’s largest foundation in the field of humanitarian and development work. Raising the bar of community initiatives, it builds on the success of Ramadan humanitarian campaigns launched under directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid over the previous years.

Donation channels

The Mothers’ Endowment campaign welcomes donations and contributions to the endowment fund from institutions and individuals across six main channels includ
ing the campaign’s website (Mothersfund.ae), as well as a dedicated call centre via the toll-free number (800 9999). Donations are also possible via bank transfers in the UAE dirham to the campaign bank account number with Emirates Islamic Bank (AE790340003708472909201). Donations via SMS are possible by sending the word ‘Mother’ to the following numbers (1034, 1035, 1036, 1038) for Etisalat by e and users. Other possible platforms for donating to the campaign are the DubaiNow app by clicking the ‘Donations’ tab, and Dubai’s community contributions platform Jood.
