The Deputy Minister of Oil and Minerals, Acting Executive Director of Yemen Gas Company Yasser Al-Wahidi, on Sunday inspected the conduct of summer courses in a number of schools in a designated district of Capital Secretariat.
Al-Wahidi and the executive director of the company, Eng. Ammar Al-Adhrai, the Undersecretary of the Capital Secretariat Abdulkareem Al-Houthi and Assistant Undersecretary Sami Sharafuddin, Director of the district Abdulmalik Al-Radhi, on the scientific and knowledge activities received by students at al-Imam al-Hussein, martyred leader and the typical Quran generation Schools.
They heard from the school supervisors an explanation of summer course activities and their religious, scientific, cultural and sporting programmes to develop students’ skills and abilities.
The Deputy Minister of Oil noted the importance of summer sessions to qualify a generation armed with Koranic culture and to fortify them from the fallacious cultures the enemy seeks to promote.
He stressed the interest and support of the State leadership for such summer courses in order to benefit students and invest their time during the summer holidays.
