Deputy PM briefs on summer activities in Mahweet

Deputy Prime Minister for Services and Development Affairs Hussein Maqbuli has briefed the activities of the summer activities at Imam Ali School in al-Mahjar area in Shibam Kawkaban district of Mahweet province.

Maqbuli briefed on the students’ demand for summer courses and the sciences, knowledge, and skills they receive in the religious, cultural, social, and various scientific subjects.

Maqbuli and his companions listened to a number of students’ who recited the Holy Quran, Quranic sciences, chanting, and other fields.

He praised the level of student demand for summer courses om Mahweet, urging the local authority in the district to pay attention to educating young people and developing their creativity in various fields.

Maqbuli stressed the importance of the summer courses, to develop the skills and abilities of those enrolled and refine their talents, especially in memorizing and teaching the Holy Qur’an, Qur’anic culture and strengthening the faith identity.

He urged parents to push their children to enroll in summer courses, thus contributing to immunizing them from false cultures and the dangers of soft war waged by the countries of aggression with the aim of corrupting them and making them vulnerable to misleading and deviant sciences.
