The Minister of Public Works and Roads, Ghaleb Mutlaq, discussed with the Deputy Minister of Transport, Muhammad Al-Hashimi, aspects of coordination and cooperation between the two ministries.
The meeting, which included the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Works for the Roads Sector, Eng. Khaled Bashmakh, the Chairman of the Public Authority for Regulating Transport Affairs, Walid Al-Wadaei, and the Vice-Chairman of the Road Maintenance Fund, Eng. Nabil Al-Moayyed, touched on the procedures for implementing the Manakha tunnel, reviewing the quantities and prices tables, and forming a committee from the two ministries to complete studies and designs.
Minister Mutlaq stressed the need to strengthen coordination between the two ministries with regard to preserving the road network and reducing violations that bear the burdens of the two ministries.
While the Deputy Minister of Transport appreciated the efforts of the Ministry of Works in many projects in the field of developing the road network, stressing the readiness of the Ministry of Transport to support the efforts of the Ministry of Works for the public good.
