Doha, - Qatar Charity announced that its has extended the operation of 47 equipped ambulances with their crews at a total cost of over QR 2 million.

In a state issued today, Eid Charity said that it has extended the ambulance operation for periods of 6 months in Aleppo, Idlib and the coast and eight months in East Ghouta.

The ambulances are distributed according to the regions' needs, as 21 ambulances operate in Idlib, 10 in Aleppo, 2 in the coast and 14 in East Ghouta.

Eid Charity estimates indicate that the ambulances serve around 2.5 million people in these cities and towns.
