Ramallah, Jewish settlers stormed the courtyards of Al Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem on Wednesday morning, local sources confirmed.
In a statement to "Petra," Sheikh Azzam al-Khatib, director general of the General Islamic Endowments and Al-Aqsa Affairs Department, said more than fifty settlers stormed Al-Aqsa, under strict protection from the Israeli police, from the Mughrabi Gate, and performed Talmudic rituals in its courtyards "provocatively".
Meanwhile, Jewish settlers stole olives from Deir al-Hatab village, east of Nablus, in the northern West Bank.
Citizens in Deir al-Hatab found out hundreds of olive trees had been stolen in Ras Hazem area, near the settlement of Alon Moreh, according to Ghassan Daghlas, a Palestinian official in charge of the settlement file in the northern West Bank.
