Fair weather forecast in highlands until Thursday

Moderate weather conditions are expected to prevail on Tuesday in the highlands and the plains, while it will be relatively hot to hot in other parts of the Kingdom, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.

Clouds at low altitudes are also forecast to appear in the northern and central regions, with northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, the JMD added.

Wednesday and Thursday are predicted to bring in similar weather conditions, with northwesterly moderate winds, picking up at times, the JMD noted.

The highs in Amman and other highlands across the Kingdom on Tuesday will range between 27 and 30 degrees Celsius, dropping at night to 18C or even 14C in the southern highlands. In the Gulf city of Aqaba, it will be much hotter with mercury reaching a high of 37C and a low of 25C.
