The Ministry of Public Health and the Health Office in Amanat Al-Asimah inaugurated today, Sunday,field visits to hospitals, private medical and diagnostic centers to follow up on the implementation of the medical services pricing decision issued by the Ministry.
In a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the Deputy Minister of Health, Dr. Mutahar Al-Marwani, stated that field committees from the Ministry and the Health Office in the Secretariat have been assigned to monitor and ensure that medical facilities adhere to the pricing, and to control violations.
He stressed the continuation and strengthening of the process of monitoring and follow-up of the extent of compliance with the prices of medical services in hospitals and private medical centers, and taking deterrent measures against violators and non-compliance, in a way that contributes to alleviating the suffering of citizens.
Al-Marwani called on all private medical and diagnostic facilities to adhere to the quality and prices of medical services according to their classifications and the standards set by Health Ministry .
