Doha, – The Indian Exhibition for Products and Industries will kick off at Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre from March 16 to 22.
The first-ever exhibition to be held solely for Indian products in Qatar is organized by Qatar Chamber and Square Exhibitions Management.
Held on 6 thousand square meters, the exhibition will showcase Indian products in various sectors including textiles and electronics, fashion, Kashmiri products, arts and crafts, real estate, engineering technology for 190 Indian companies.
In a press conference to announce the event, Director-General of Qatar Camber Saleh Al Sharqi expressed hope that the one-of-a-kind exhibition will contribute to further promoting trade and investment cooperation between businessmen in Qatar and India.
He expects the exhibition to help businessmen in both countries explore new investment opportunities and trade partnerships that take trade relations between the two countries to new heights.
Fir his part, HE the Indian Ambassador to Qatar P Kumaran said that the exhibition will be an opportunity to showcase the most prominent Indian industries, such as textiles, electronics, real estate, engineering and others, pointing out that the exhibition will also include bilateral meetings between businessmen from both countries to discuss ways toward making deals and business partnerships.
The Ambassador noted that the volume of trade between Qatar and India exceeded $10 billion over the past year. He praised the trade relations between the two countries, noting that India is Qatar’s third largest trading partner.
