Fujairah Ruler heads UAE delegation at GCC Summit in Riyadh

RIYADH, H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, headed the UAE delegation at the 43rd session of the GCC Leaders’ Summit in Riyadh today.

The summit was inaugurated by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, on behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, HRH King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

The leaders of the GCC nations and their representatives engaged in constructive dialogue at the summit, the current session of which is chaired by the Sultanate of Oman.

The delegates discussed the ongoing aim of the Gulf Cooperation Council to collectively build upon its members’ past achievements and enable further progress while maintaining peace, stability and the GCC’s important role in the region and the world.
