Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jassem Mohamed Albudaiwi today met with the Minister of Economy and member of the UAE Cabinet Abdullah bin Touq, and with UAE Minister of State for Financial Affairs Mohamed bin Hadi Al Hussaini in Abu Dhabi, to discuss strengthening economic and financial cooperation among Gulf states.
The officials discussed common Gulf economic and financial concerns, with the goal of advancing Gulf economic integration in accordance with the directives and visions of the leaders of the GCC countries.
Albudaiwi praised the efforts made by UAE to support joint Gulf action to achieve economic integration.
During his visit, Albudaiwi will participate in the Middle East Rail Exhibition Conference.
