Governors of southern provinces confirm their support for their provinces’ sons who oppose aggression

The southern provinces governors affirmed their support for the people of their provinces who oppose the occupation and boycott the Southern Consultative Conference, which was called for by some of the puppet components under the directives of the aggression coalition against Yemen.

A statement issued by the governors, a copy of which was received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), indicated that the consultative conference did not aim to stop the aggression, lift the siege, remove the occupiers from Yemen and build a modern state based on justice and equality and outside of foreign tutelage.

The statement pointed out that all past experiences and the multiplicity of consultative meetings of parties and other components with their various names, which led to disunity and diaspora and the dominance of certain forces over their outputs, were mostly not in favor of the people of the country, but rather in favor of its enemies.

The statement stressed the emphasis on the unity of the people of the south in general, which leads to the service of the Yemeni homeland, south and north, and not subordination to the aggression forces.

The governors said, “We trust our free sons, men and women, in the occupied southern provinces, and that their obsession is first and foremost with removing the occupier from their lands, achieving independence, and building a unified Yemen on sound religious foundations without any dictates from outside.”

They renewed the call to their brothers and sons, not to be drawn into suspicious calls that are in favor of aggression or in favor of certain regions or parties without others, stressing that they are with the unity of the word and the position that serves the south in particular and Yemen in general.
