Handing over three sewage projects’ sites in Maeen district in Amanat Al Asimah

The local council of Maeen district in Amanat Al-Asimah handed over today, Wednesday, the sites of three sewage projects at a cost of $600,000, funded by the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS).

The projects implemented through the Public Works Project include connecting the sewage network to Wadi Al-Fujairah neighborhood in Asr neighborhood, Asaad Al-Kamil neighborhood in Madhbah Al-Janoubi neighborhood, and completing the sewage network in Al-Hikma neighborhood in Al-Sunaina neighborhood in Maeen district.

The handover was attended by the Director of the Directorate, Abdulmalik Al-Radi, the Director of the Second Area of the Works Project, Eng. Munir Thabet, the representative of UNOPS, Eng. Khaled Basalamah, and the Director of the Project Implementation Unit and the Fourth Area of the Municipal Water Corporation.
