HE SHEIKH ALI BIN KHALID AL-THANI REACHES EQUESTRIAN WORLD CUP’S SECOND ROUND

Doha, – HE Sheikh Ali bin Khalid Al-Thani qualified Friday to the second round of the Equestrian World Cup (FEI World Cup), which is taking place in the City of Omaha in the State of Nebraska in the US.

His Excellency rode his horse Carolina and cleared all the obstacles with no errors in 64:61 seconds. The performance was enough to make His Excellency third, qualifying with 15 other riders in round two. Riders carryover their errors all the way to the final round of the competition.

McLain Ward came first in the qualification, riding his horse HH Azure and finishing the race in 59:27 seconds with no errors. Sweden’s Henrik von Eckermann and Mary Lou finished second. Steve Guerdat and Bianca from Switzerland finished third. HH Azur is a 2006 Belgian Warmblood mare owned by Double H Farm & Francois Mathy.
