Hodeida Ports Workers Union denies allegations of looting workers’ dues

Hodeida Port Workers Union confirmed that the damage to Hodeida port workers and their families over the past eight years was mainly caused by the blockade of the aggression coalition forces and the denial of entry to ships, which led to the workers losing their source of livelihood.

The union categorically denied what was reported by the aggression media outlets about looting any dues for workers in Hodeida port, or laying them off and replacing them with others, stressing that this is false and untrue.

In a statement issued today, the Syndicate indicated that the publication of such misleading news aims at confusion and distortion, which the aggression media deliberately used and raised from the first moment in launching the aggression and imposing its siege on Yemen.

The statement indicated that the dues of workers in Hodeida are disbursed on a regular basis, without delay, by the shipping companies, and there is no relation to any other party.

The statement was surprised by the progress of that it called workers in the complaint and the failure to attach their complaint to the content of what its mouthpieces dealt with in its news.

It considered the publication of such lies and the implication of economic establishments confirms the extent of bankruptcy and confusion that the forces of aggression and their mouthpieces have reached.

The statement stressed that the Yemeni Red Sea ports workers receive attention and care from the leadership of the corporation, pointing out that what the aggression media has been targeting by targeting vital facilities that are indispensable to people, including ports and economic facilities, are war crimes of the first degree and crimes against humanity.
