The Lower House of Parliament on Thursday voted in favor of its legal committee’s decision to freeze the membership of MP Osama Alajarmah, Amman 5th Constituency, for one year following remarks he made during a heated house session on Monday, which were deemed offensive to the Parliament.
During an emergency session, the House also agreed to block Alajarmah from participating in any parliamentary work and cut his pay and other allocations during the freeze period.
