ABU DHABI, The International Defence Exhibition and Conference (IDEX) has achieved remarkable successes since its first launch in 1993, developing steadily in recent years to include diverse exhibitors and audiences, providing an opportunity to learn about the latest innovations of defence systems manufacturers, which bolstered their competitive presence at the regional and international levels, according to a senior UAE official.
The 16th edition of IDEX and the 7th edition of the Naval Defence & Maritime Security Exhibition (NAVDEX) will be held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, from 20th to 24th February 2023 in Abu Dhabi.
