In Continuation of Kingdom’s Evacuation Efforts, 45 Saudi Citizens and 88 Others from Brotherly and Friendly Countries Arrive in Jeddah

In continuation of the evacuation efforts made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the directives of the Kingdom’s Leadership, several evacuees arrived at King Abdullah Air Base in Jeddah this morning through a Royal Saudi Air Forces plane, from the Republic of Sudan. The group of evacuees included 45 Saudis and 36 Pakistani nationals. In addition, an evacuation was conducted today by way of sea through the H M S “Al-Diriyah” ship in Jeddah, carrying 52 individuals of the following nationalities: (Sultanate of Oman, Pakistan, the United States of America, and Nepal).

Furthermore, the Royal Saudi Air Forces has evacuated, during the past two days, approximately 185 nationals of the following countries:

(South Africa, Zambia, Kenya, Mali, Mozambique, Nigeria, Eritrea, United Kingdom, Sweden, France, Netherlands, Norway, United States of America, Canada, Australia, Lebanon, Palestine, Somalia, Pakistan, Thailand, Philippines, Uganda, Chad, Tanzania, Benin, Indonesia and Turkey).

The Kingdom worked to provide all the necessary needs of the nationals of brotherly and friendly countries in preparation for facilitating their departures to their countries, thus bringing the total of evacuees to approximately 5,197 individuals (184 Saudi citizens, and approximately 5,013 foreign nationals belonging to 100 countries).
