Iran Arrests Israeli Terror Network Set to Carry Out Armed Operations

The Iranian Ministry of Intelligence announced the dismantling of a spy network working for the Israeli intelligence service (Mossad), and planning to carry out armed operations inside the country.

The ministry said in a statement reported by the Iranian news agency (IRNA), that the security forces arrested members of the “biggest terrorist group” of agents affiliated with the Zionist regime in several provinces of the country, explaining that they intended to carry out many armed acts of sabotage.

It stated that 43 bombs with high destructive capacity and remote control devices were seized, in addition to confiscating large quantities of weapons and several pistols and hunting rifles.

The ministry did not indicate the number of people who were arrested, nor did it disclose their nationalities, but confirmed their association with Mossad.
