Iran issues an urgent decision for its citizens who visit Karbala to return from Iraq before the arrival of Arbaeen

The Central Arbaeen Committee in Iran issued today, Sunday, a statement calling on the Iranian pilgrims to return to the country before the day of Arbaeen of Imam Hussein, which falls on Wednesday.

In its statement, the committee called on “all Iranian visitors who participated in the global Arbaeen march to return to the country before Arbaeen Day, in order to avoid crowding.”

The committee urged drivers to “take a sufficient amount of rest before heading home, abide by traffic laws, and reduce the duration of stay at the holy shrines, especially Karbala.”

In the statement, the committee called on those who have airline tickets to return “to come to the airport at least 5 hours before the plane takes off.”
