Iraq And Finland Hold The Third Round Of Political Consultations In Baghdad

The head of the European Department, Ambassador Haider Mansour Al-Athari, chaired today, Wednesday, the third round of political consultations between Iraq and Finland, which were held at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Baghdad, and were headed by the Director General of the Middle East and North Africa Department in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the Finnish side, Finnish Foreign Minister Sophie Frome Amesberger, and the Finnish ambassador in Matti Lasila.

A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the meeting included a discussion of a number of issues in the fields of bilateral relations, immigration, multilateral relations, regional and international issues, Iraq’s relationship with the European Union, in addition to environmental issues, climate change and human rights issues./ End
