Iraq Participates In The Extraordinary Session At The Level Of Permanent Delegates To The League Of Arab States

The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in Cairo, its permanent representative to the League of Arab States, Ahmed Nayef Rashid Al-Dulaimi, participated in the extraordinary session at the level of permanent delegates to the League of Arab States.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement, “The session was called for by the delegates of the Republic of Iraq, the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, at the headquarters of the League of Arab States regarding the developments of the Syrian crisis and based on the concern of member states for the security and stability of the Syrian Arab Republic, its Arabism, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, and contributing to finding a way out of the Syrian crisis that would end the suffering of the brotherly Syrian people.

The statement added, “The Sudanese file and its developments were discussed at the request of the delegates of the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in coordination with the Republic of Sudan.
