Iraq’s oil exports to America declined for the second week

Baghdad, The US Energy Information Administration (EIA) announced on Sunday that Iraq’s oil exports to the United States declined during the past week.

The EIA stated that “the average US imports of crude oil during the past week from 9 major countries amounted to 5,411 million barrels per day, down by 33 thousand barrels per day from the previous week, which amounted to 5,444 million barrels per day.”

It added, “Iraq’s oil exports to America amounted to 91,000 barrels per day last week, down by 153,000 barrels per day from the previous week, which amounted to 244,000 barrels per day.”

The EIA noted that ‘most of America’s oil imports during the past week came from Canada, followed by Mexico and Saudi Arabia.’

According to the EIA, ‘the amount of American imports of crude oil continues, from Colombia, Brazil, Ecuador, and Nigeria.’
