Israel army arrests 20 Palestinians in West Bank raids

The Israeli occupation army on Monday arrested 20 Palestinians during raids in West Bank towns and East Jerusalem, according to Palestinian sources.

Troops also clashed with local youths in the city of Jenin and the nearby Jenin refugee camp and other spots.

Soldiers searched dozens of homes in a number of villages and towns, arrested “wanted” activists and referred them to security authorities for attacks against soldiers and Jewish settlers, according to the Palestinian Prisoners Club.

In the village of Ibzik, near Tubas in the northern west Bank, the Israeli army demolished agricultural and water facilities and uprooted trees for not being licensed by the occupation authority, according to the local mayor.
