Ramallah, Israeli occupation forces on Sunday arrested the Palestinian Minister of Jerusalem Affairs, Fadi al-Hadmi, after raiding his home east of Jerusalem, according to a statement issued by the minister's office.

The Israeli occupation forces, Sunday dawn, raided the minister's house in Al-Sawwanah neighborhood in Jerusalem, searched it and confiscated his mobile phones before arresting him, the statement said.

Arresting former Palestinian ministers is a well known Israeli policy, where former Palestinian Minister of Jerusalem Affairs, Adnan Husseini, as well as the city's Palestinian Authority-affiliated Governor, Adnan Gheith, have been detained several times during the past months.
