In the presence of Minister Kisbi, and Awqaf Minister, Mohammad Khalailah, Issawi inaugurated the Al-Harith bin Yazid Al-Asadi Mosque, which has an area of about 140 square meters, and was built via a donation from the Tripoli Company within the housing area of poor families, which includes about 103 housing units.
Issawi also checked on the Al-Manar Center for Intellectual Development, which has undergone comprehensive maintenance and furnishing, and includes the latest equipment and expertise to handle students with disabilities.
14 male and female students with mental and motor disabilities, in addition to 6 students who receive the necessary care in the occupational therapy unit, benefit from the center.
Royal initiatives that are complementary to government programs and plans, and are implemented in coordination with concerned official authorities and civil society institutions, seek to empower citizens and enhance their role in the sustainable development process by implementing initiatives and projects according to specific development priorities that meet the needs of local communities and target groups, empowering them and stimulating their energies to improve its social and economic environment.
Issawi also checked on the Ar-Ruwaished Hospital project, and was briefed on the project’s progress.
