Jewish settlers steal olives south of Nablus

Ramallah, A group of Jewish settlers on Sunday stole quantities of olives from the village of Al-Sawiya, south of Nablus, in the northern West Bank.

Palestinian official in charge of Israeli settlements file in the northern part of the West Bank, Ghassan Daghlas, said in a statement that Palestinian farmers went to pick olives in Al-Tamla area, to discover the stealing of nearly 300 olive trees.

"The settlers expelled the Palestinian farmers from the lands, despite having a permission by the Israeli army to enter the area to harvest their own olives," he added.
