Jordan condemns Israeli demolition of Palestinians’ homes

Jordan’s foreign ministry Wednesday inveighed against the Israeli occupation forces’ demolition of Palestinian-owned homes in the occupied West Bank.

Spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dhaifallah Fayez said in a statement demolishing homes, appropriating lands and the displacement of people are all violations of international law that run counter to Israel’s commitments, as the occupier, toward the occupied Palestinians.

The policy of settlement expansion adopted by Israel in the occupied Palestinian territories, whether through land appropriation, displacement or building settler units, is illegal and undermines the effort to realise peace and materialise the two-state solution as per the international law.
