Cairo, Prime Minister Omar Razzaz, and Egyptian counterpart Mostafa Medbouli on Wednesday chaired meetings of the Jordanian High Joint Committee at its twenty-eighth session in the Egyptian capital Cairo.
The two premiers discussed the importance of the committee meetings in enhancing bilateral relations and developing cooperation fields as a step towards economic integration between the two countries.
During the talks, the two sides agreed to find "immediate" solutions to obstacles facing the process of joint cooperation and to set a timetable for the implementation of what has been agreed upon in all fields.
The Egyptian side stressed the importance of finding an "immediate" solution to the industrial sector's complaints, related to the registration procedures of Jordanian companies inside Egypt, granting them a preferential advantage, and fixing a two-week maximum period to complete the registration process, coupled with further facilitations from the Egyptian side at the crossing points to enter Jordanian goods.
