President of the Amman Chamber of Industry (ACI), Fathi Jaghbir discussed, on Thursday, with the Syrian Chargé d'Affairs in Jordan, Essam Niyal, means to revitalize the two countries' economic relations and the role of private sector institutions in this regard.
According to a press release by the chamber, Jaghbir, who also heads the Jordan Chamber of Industry, stressed the depth of the historical and brotherly ties between the two peoples, stressing that the strong bond can overcome the challenges and obstacles facing economic cooperation.
Jaghbir, through the Syrian embassy, extended an invitation to the head of the Damascus Chamber of Industry and Commerce to visit the Kingdom to discuss establishing an integrative economic relationship.
Niyal, for his part, voiced his country's desire to establish an integrative economic relationship, especially in the industrial field, and to increase meetings between businessmen from the two countries.
