Doha, - The Cultural Village Foundation (Katara), in cooperation with the embassy of Kazakhstan in Doha, hosted a concert on Thursday, in celebration of the 25th anniversary of Kazakhstan's independence day.

HE Minister of Justice Dr. Hasan bin Lahdan Al Mohannadi attended the concert along with the Foreign Ministry's Chief of Protocol Ambassador HE Ibrahim Yousif Fakhroo, Katara General Manager Dr. Khalid bin Ibrahim Al Sulaiti, and several ambassadors and representatives of diplomatic missions to Doha.

An audience of multinational music avid fans including the Kazakh nationals working in Qatar, who showed up dressing colorful and embroidered national costumes, also attended the concert.

Speaking at the musical event, which started with playing national anthems of Qatar and Kazakhstan, Kazakhstan's Ambassador to Qatar Askar Shokybayev hailed the strong and progressive ties between the two countries, expressing gratitude to Katara for hosting this event.

Camerata state classical music ensemble, which consists of 20 members, performed during the event. It is notable for its performances of pieces by modern Kazakhstani composers.
