Berlin, – Germany’s Angelique Kerber remained top of the women’s tennis rankings in the latest list published Monday by the WTA, even though she failed again to win a first tournament of the year the previous day.

Kerber, the losing finalist Sunday in Monterrey, Mexico, has 7,335 points and leads the way from American Serena Williams (7,010) and Czech Karolina Pliskova (6,020). American Madison Keys returned into the top 10 in 10th place.
