The Head of the Military Committee, Major General Yahya Abdullah Al-Razami, met today in Sana’a, the military advisor of the UN representative to Yemen, General Anthony Hayward.
The meeting discussed issues related to efforts to establish peace and a cease-fire, foremost of which is the humanitarian file represented in the salary’s payment, the opening of airports and ports, and the lifting of the blockade.
In the meeting, Major General Al-Razami indicated the military committee’s keenness to achieve everything that contributes to reaching the permanent and comprehensive peace that all Yemenis aspire to.
He called on those concerned in the United Nations to work to release the demining tools that have been stuck for three years outside Yemen.
For his part, Hayward touched on the importance of reaching a permanent ceasefire.
The meeting was attended by a member of the Military Committee – Deputy Director of the Intelligence Department, Brigadier General Hussein Hashem, members of the committee and the director of the office of the UN Special Representative to Yemen, Roxanne Bazarjan.
