Environment Minister, Nabil Masarweh, on Thursday, discussed with Emirati Ambassador to Jordan, Ahmed Ali Al Balushi, the key environmental issues of mutual concern.
Discussions also went over ways to address challenges within a regional and international framework and cooperation, particularly with regard to climate change, which has become a “major” threat to the world, and support international steps in this regard, according to a ministry statement.
During the meeting, the two officials pledged support to the two countries’ positions at world forums and to resolutions pertaining to the environmental field, the statement added.
